As a requirement for employment with the Court, any applicant offered conditional employment shall provide certification from the appropriate authority that said applicant is in substantial compliance with any court-ordered child support. "Substantial compliance" means the individual is current regarding court- ordered child support obligations or has entered into a current and dated agreement plan with the appropriate authority to satisfy any delinquency and assure future payments prior to commencing employment.
The City shall continue to furnish hospitalization, surgical, prescriptive drug and death benefit coverage for the sitting Judges of the Toledo Municipal Court, meaning all judges currently holding judicial office by reason of election or gubernatorial appointment, and the Clerk of the Toledo Municipal Court as provided by state law.
Court officials (Judges and Clerk) and all Court employees shall be covered by the City under a fidelity bond for loss of money and/or other property due to dishonest acts of officials and employees and failure to properly account for money and/or property, said coverage being necessary to protect the assets of the Court and City. The amount of bond, form and content of bond and term of bond shall comply with Toledo Municipal Code Chapter 2145.
