§ 95.004 KILLING OF WILD CREATURES IN CITY PARKS AND NATURE PRESERVES.
   (A)   A person commits an offense if the person intentionally or knowingly kills, seriously injures, or administers poison to an animal, other than cattle, horses, sheep, swine or goats, within the boundaries of a city park or nature preserve, without legal authority.
   (B)   An ANIMAL, as used in this section, shall mean an uncaptured wild creature or a wild creature whose capture was accomplished by conduct at issue under this section; except that, ANIMAL shall not include birds or fowl covered under §§ 95.055 through 95.057 of this chapter.
