(A) No permit shall be issued by the City Inspector under this subchapter until after the fees set forth in the following schedule shall have been paid:
(1) For the purpose of assessing permit fees, all light, switch and receptacle openings are classed as outlets:
(a) For each outlet, lighting fixture, switch and receptacle: $0.40;
(b) 1. Motors, exhaust fans and other fans less than two horsepower, each: $3:
a. From two, but less than ten, horsepower, each: $4;
b. From ten, but less than 35, horsepower, each: $5;
c. From 35, but less than 100, horsepower, each: $9; and
d. One hundred or more horsepower, per 100 horsepower: $15.
2. Each additional horsepower over 100: $0.08; and
3. Motor control equipment is included in these fees.
(c) Elevator, passenger, each: $10;
(d) Elevator, freight, each: $10;
(e) Motion picture machine, each: $4;
(f) Sound picture equipment, each: $6;
(g) Electric range or heater, each: $3;
(h) Water heater, each: $3;
(i) X-ray machine, each: $6;
(j) Gas or vacuum tube sign:
1. First transformer, each sign: $3; and
2. Each additional transformer: $1.
(k) Floodlight, single receptacle, each: $1;
(l) Floodlight, multiple receptacle, each: $3; and
(m) Two-hundred-twenty-volt outlet: $1.
(2) Each permanently connected electrical appliance or piece of equipment of any nature not otherwise specified shall be charged for as follows:
(a) One KVA or less: $1;
(b) Next 9 KVA, per KVA: $0.80;
(c) Next 40 KVA, per KVA: $0.60;
(d) Next 50 KVA, per KVA: $0.40; and
(e) More than 100 KVA, per KVA: $0.04.
(3) (a) Each service and meter loop, or repairs to a service or meter loop, shall be charged for as follows:
1. Up to and including 100 amps: $4;
2. More than 100 amps, but not more than 200 amps: $6; and
3. More than 200 amps: $10.
(b) No outlets are included in this fee.
(4) T. pole: $5; and
(5) A/C unit, per unit: $5.
(B) In addition to the fees set out in division (A) above, the fee for issuing each permit shall be $10.
(C) For reinspection, for any reason, the fee shall be $25 for first reinspection. Subsequent inspections will be $50, $100, $150, etc.
