1-17-27: SELECTION COMMITTEE FOR ARCHITECT-ENGINEER SERVICES:
   A.   In the procurement of architect-engineer services, the city shall encourage firms engaged in the lawful practice of their profession to submit annually a statement of qualifications and performance data.
   B.   The mayor and city council shall be the evaluation committee for architect-engineer services contracts under its authority.
   C.   An advisory evaluation committee for architect-engineer services contracts may be established by the mayor and city council.
   D.   An advisory evaluation committee shall:
      1.   Evaluate current statement of qualifications and performance data on file with the city, together with those that may be submitted by other firms in response to the announcement of the proposed contract;
      2.   Consider no less than three (3) firms; and
      3.   Based upon criteria established and published by the city the mayor and city council shall select no less than three (3) of the firms considered to be the most highly qualified to provide the services required. (Ord. 2014-08, 8-5-2014)
