The definitions in section 63G-6a-103 of the Utah procurement code shall apply to this chapter unless the context herein clearly indicates otherwise. The provisions of the Utah administrative code under "purchasing" may be consulted for guidance in interpreting and applying this chapter. The wording and context of such statutory provisions and administrative regulations shall be modified, interpreted and applied in such manner as to render the terms thereof applicable to the city insofar as practicable.
