248.03 MAYOR TO ACT AS DIRECTOR IN VACANCY.

In case there is a vacancy in the position of Director of Public Safety, for any reason, the Mayor shall act as Director of Public Safety with the same powers and duties; provided, however, that in such event, the qualifications set forth in Section 248.02 shall not be applicable.
