1-7-5: OTHER OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES:

The village board shall from time to time appoint, retain or employ such other officers or employees as it shall deem necessary to carry out the governmental duties of the village. Rates of compensation and other matters relating to such employment shall be established by the village board in accord with applicable statutes and regulations of the state of Illinois and the United States Of America. (1984 Code § 1-6-2)
