1-6-2: COMPENSATION:
The village president and trustees shall be paid as follows for services rendered to the village:
   A.   President:
      1.   Base Monthly Salary: The president shall be paid a base monthly salary of three hundred dollars ($300.00).
      2.   Additional Salary:
         a.   The president shall be paid at the rate of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each regularly scheduled meeting and each recessed meeting or special meeting attended during each calendar month, not to exceed three (3) meetings per month.
         b.   The president shall also be paid twenty dollars ($20.00) per hour for each hour of work done on village business other than meetings, not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) per month. No working hours shall be carried over from month to month if the president works hours in excess of those required to reach the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00).
      3.   Maximum Salary: In no event shall the total salary paid to the president exceed the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per month. (Ord. 2002-28, 9-17-2002; amd. 2010 Code)
   B.   Trustees: Trustees shall be paid a base monthly salary of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00), plus one hundred twenty five dollars ($125.00) for each special meeting attended during each calendar month, not to exceed one special meeting per month. (Ord. 2010-12, 10-5-2010)
   C.   Payment Of Compensation: Fees shall be paid monthly by the village treasurer, and meeting attendance fees shall be based upon the attendance roll call as filed with the village clerk. Said fees shall be charged against the general corporate fund. The village shall reimburse all expenses incurred by any elected official which are necessary for the performance of the official's duties as are approved in advance by the village board of trustees.
