A. Any person causing a public nuisance as set forth in section 5-1-1 of this chapter, and the owner, occupant, or lessee of land on which any nuisance exists, are required to correct the nuisance within five (5) days of the receipt of notice from the village of the violation. It is the ultimate responsibility of the owner of the premises on which a public nuisance exists to correct the violation.
B. The person causing the public nuisance shall remove or cause to be removed the items causing the nuisance within five (5) days of receipt of written notice from the village president or his/her designated official. (Ord. 2011-6, 5-17-2011)
