(a) In a Residence District every newly constructed main building and/or every expansion of an existing main building shall have a rear yard the depth of which shall not be less than the greater of the following:
(1) Fifteen percent of the depth of the lot; or
(2) Fifty feet.
(b) Fifty percent of the area of the rear yard may be occupied by one-story accessory buildings; however, no such accessory building shall be located nearer than five feet to the side and rear lot lines nor further than ten feet from the side and rear lot lines.
