During a temporary absence or disability of the Village President, the Board of Trustees shall elect one of its number to act as President pro tem, who, during the absence or disability of the President, shall perform the duties pertaining to that office.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Board of Trustees shall have six Trustees. The Trustees shall be elected to office for four-year terms commencing at the first regular or special meeting of the Village Board on or after May 1 following their election. This Board shall be the legislative department of the village government, and shall perform such duties and have such powers as may be delegated to it by statute.

(A) The regular meetings of the Board of Trustees shall be held on the first and third Mondays of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Public notice shall be given as provided by statute.
(B) The meeting place of such Board shall be the Village Hall, unless otherwise ordered by the Board; provided that, if such meeting date should fall on a legal holiday, or if there is no quorum present, the meeting shall be held on the next secular day.

Special meetings may be called by the President of the village or any three Trustees upon at least 24-hours’ written notice to all members and the President; provided that, if all the Trustees are present at a special meeting, no notice of the meeting shall be necessary and such notice shall be deemed waived. Public notice shall be given as provided by statute.
