866.99 PENALTIES.
   (a)   Whoever violates Section 866.03(a), 866.14(c), 866.16(a), (b), (c) or (d), or 866.32(a)(1) shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
   (b)   Whoever violates Section 866.27, 866.32(a)(2) or 866.33 shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00). Upon subsequent conviction such person shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned for not more than 60 days, or both. Any violation shall constitute a separation offense for each successive day continued.
   (c)   Whoever violates or fails to comply with any other provision of this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor for a first offense and shall be fined mot more than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00). For a second or subsequent offense within one year, such person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree and shall be fined not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) or imprisoned not more than 30 days, or both. A violation shall constitute a separate offense for each successive day continued.
   (d)   A violation of any section of Chapter 866 shall be grounds for the suspension, revocation or permanent revocation of the taxicab owner's license or licenses, or in the case of a new application shall be grounds to refuse to issue such license for a determinate period of time, or permanently, as decided by Council.
   (e)   A violation of Sections 866.16, 866.27, 866.28, 866.29, 866.30, or 866.32 shall be grounds for the suspension or revocation of a taxicab driver's license, or in the case of a new application, shall be grounds to refuse to issue such license for a determinate period, or permanently, as decided by Council.
