16-2: CURFEW; RESPONSIBILITY OF PARENTS, GUARDIANS FOR VIOLATION:
Every parent, guardian or other person having the legal care, custody or control of any person under the age of eighteen (18) years who allows or permits such person to violate any provision of section 16-1 of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. Code § 6211.1)
16-3: ENTERING POOLROOMS AND BILLIARD HALLS WHERE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES SERVED, ETC., PROHIBITED:
   A.   Minors Prohibited: It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of twenty one (21) years to visit, enter, frequent or patronize any poolroom or billiard hall in the city of Porterville where beer, wine or any other alcoholic beverage is served, sold or consumed.
   B.   Owners Prohibited From Permitting Minors To Enter: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation or for the owner, manager or other person in charge of or in control of or otherwise conducting any poolroom or billiard hall in the city of Porterville where beer, wine or any other alcoholic beverage is served, sold or consumed to permit or allow any person under the age of twenty one (21) years to visit, enter, frequent or patronize said poolroom or billiard hall.
   C.   Definitions: For the purpose of this section, a poolroom or billiard hall that adjoins a place where beer, wine or any other alcoholic beverage is served, sold or consumed and is connected by a common entryway, passageway, door, window or other opening of any kind whatsoever shall be considered as a poolroom or billiard hall where beer, wine or any other alcoholic beverage is served, sold or consumed. 16-4: PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF SECTION 16-3:
Any person, firm, partnership, association or corporation violating any of the provisions of section 16-3 of this chapter shall be liable to have his license to do business in the city of Porterville summarily revoked by action of the city council, and in addition thereto, shall be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the city or county jail not exceeding six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
