§ 150.143 LIGHTS AND WARNINGS.
   (A)   Whenever a street or alley is blocked by a house or structure which is being moved, warnings to that effect shall be placed by the Superintendent of Streets, Alleys and Sidewalks, so as to warn vehicles and persons from entering that portion of the street so blocked.
   (B)   The person, firm or corporation moving any building through the streets shall keep warning signs and lanterns or lights on such buildings so as to guard against any person or vehicle from colliding with it.

§ 150.144 WIRE CUTTING.
   Whenever it shall be necessary to interfere with wires or cables of a public utility in moving a building, the terms of any special or franchise ordinance governing shall apply and the bond therein specified shall be given. If no such terms apply then the Mayor shall estimate the expense of fixing the wires and the bond to be given to cover such expense.

§ 150.145 FIRE ALARM WIRES.
   When any moving building shall approach any fire alarm wire or pole which shall be endangered by the removal of such building or structure it shall be the duty of the mover to notify the Fire Chief of the community fire district at least six hours before reaching such wire or pole so that they may be removed or cared for by the city authorities.

§ 150.155 INTERNATIONAL CODES ADOPTED.
   Pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/1-3-1 et seq., the following provisions of the 2006 International Code, most recent edition, and as hereafter supplemented and/or amended, are hereby adopted for use in the City of Polo:
   (A)   2006 International Residential Code;
   (B)   2006 International Building Code; and
   (C)   2006 International Property Maintenance Code.

§ 150.156 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE ADOPTED.
   Pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/1-3-1 et seq., the National Electrical Code, most recent edition, and as hereafter supplemented and/or amended, is hereby adopted for use in the City of Polo.

§ 150.157 NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION 101 LIFE SAFETY CODE ADOPTED.
   Pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/1-3-1 et seq., the National Fire Protection Association 101 Life Safety Code, 2000 Edition, is hereby adopted for use in the City of Polo.
