For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT. Means and includes conductors and equipment installed for the use of electricity supplied for light, heat or power, but does not include radio apparatus or equipment for the wireless reception of sounds and signals, or ordinary household appliances, such as toasters, vacuum cleaners, or washing machines; and does not include apparatus, conductors and other equipment installed for and by public utilities, including common carriers, which are under the jurisdiction of the Illinois Commerce Commission for use in their operations as public utilities.
