1.05.020 TIE VOTE.
   A.   Whenever an election for the position of Council Member results in a "tie vote," defined herein as an occurrence where two or more candidates receive an equal number of votes and the highest number of votes and the number of "tied" candidates exceeds the number of positions available to be filled, the City Council shall conduct a special runoff election pursuant to Section 15651(b) of the Elections Code of the State of California.
