GENERAL PROVISIONS
It shall be unlawful for any person to place any obstruction in the streets or upon the sidewalks of the town, without first obtaining the written permission to do so from the Town Marshal, Town Clerk or Town Council.

It shall be unlawful for any person to dig holes in or otherwise damage the streets and sidewalks within the town without first obtaining written permission to do so from the Town Marshal, Town Clerk or Town Council.

STREET NAMES AND BLOCK NUMBERS
(A) The streets within the town that are shown upon the map attached to the ordinance codified in this subchapter, marked Exhibit A and made a part hereof by reference, shall hereinafter be known as and carry the names as shown upon said map.
(B) Streets within the town that are not shown upon the attached map shall continue with such names as are presently given to said streets, or with such names as are hereinafter given to said streets.
(C) The portion of Pierceton Road which extends westward from Seventh Street to the intersection of Market Street (traveling on Market Street westward from the center of town to the Pierceton Road) shall hereinafter be known as “Market Street Extended.”

(A) System description. The numbering system created by this section utilizes an east-west street to represent the dividing line between north and south designations, and a north-south street for the dividing line between east and west designations, which streets shall be referred to as “numbering base.” Even numbers shall be assigned to properties that are on the right side of the street as one proceeds away from the base, and odd numbers shall be assigned to properties that are on the left side of the street as one proceeds away from the base street.
(B) Excluded properties. The Arnolt Industrial Park and the Cubs Development District are excluded from the numbering system created herein. The Town Clerk-Treasurer shall determine the numbers for these properties.
