CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS
(A) Whenever any sidewalk shall be ordered constructed, repaired or replaced by the Council of said village, it shall be the duty of the Village Superintendent to give the property owner due and timely notice thereof, which in no case shall be less than 24 hours.
(B) For new home construction single-family developments, sidewalks must be four feet wide on the address side only of the property, at the homeowner’s expense. These sidewalks must run from property line to property line and must be completed before occupancy.
(C) The Village Council may waive the requirement for a sidewalk when, in the opinion the Village Council, the sidewalk would serve no purpose.
