(a) Council authorizes and approves payment from the proper fund to the Mayor for the use of his private automobile in the performance of official business of the Municipality.
(b) The compensation for the use of the private automobile in the performance of official business shall be at the rate of six hundred dollars ($600.00) per year, payable monthly.
(c) When the Municipality has provided an automobile for the use of the Mayor on official business, payment to the Mayor for the use of his private automobile on the public business of the Municipality shall be terminated.
