Before pouring concrete, the owner or contractor shall call the City Engineer and request his inspection of forms and the approval of the same by him.
A final inspection by the City Engineer or the Department of Public Service, when the work is completed and the premises cleaned, is also required. The fee for such inspection shall be as set out in Chapter 185 of the Administrative Code (the General Fee Schedule). In the event that the City Engineer or the Department of Public Service finds that the work is not in conformity with City standards and specifications and the street profile, then the owner or contractor shall be required to replace such sidewalk as provided in Section 903.08(c).
