143.29 RETIREMENT.

(a) Upon retirement, hospitalization benefits shall be as provided in Section 173.14.

(b) Upon full retirement, after at least tw%nty years of service, a police officer shall be given his or her service revolver.

(c) Upon cessation of service from the SWAT team, after at least three years of service, an officer shall be given his or her SWAT-issued sidearm.
