§ 72.054 PARKING TIMES; HOURS OF OPERATION.
   (A)   Parking or standing a vehicle in a designated space in a parking meter zone shall be lawful for the time desired upon deposit of coins of this country as follows:
      (1)   One $.05 coin for each 1 hour of time desired.
      (2)   Two $.05 or one $.10 coin for each 2 hours of times desired;
      (3)   One $.25 coin for 10 hours of time.
   (B)   The parking meters shall be operated in the parking meter zones Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; and Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.; the parking meters shall not be operated in the parking meter zones on Sunday and holidays.
   (C)   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      HOLIDAY. Includes the following days only: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
