The possession of or display of firearms in prohibited within the Lake Devin Recreational Area, except that concealed weapons are permitted in accordance with North Carolina law, provided that the person possesses a valid concealed carry permit issued in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, and the person is not in violation of the conditions of that permit. It shall be unlawful to discharge a firearm within the Lake Devin area unless the discharge is necessary to protect a person or persons from imminent bodily injury. Hunting of any type is prohibited.
