(A) Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of any section or division of this chapter for which no other penalty is provided, or failing or neglecting or refusing to comply with same, shall be guilty of an infraction and subject to a civil penalty not to exceed $50 except as otherwise provided for herein.
(B) If any offender fails to pay the civil penalty set forth in any section or division of this chapter for which no other penalty is provided, or fails, neglects or refuses to comply with the same, within 30 days after being cited for a violation, the city may seek to collect said penalty and an additional civil penalty of $50 in a civil action in the nature of debt.
(C) The city may seek to enforce the provisions of this chapter through any lawful or equitable action.
(D) Violations of the provisions of § 20-17 shall be deemed an infraction in accordance with G.S. Ch. 20, the maximum penalty for which shall be $75 plus applicable court cost.
