Any person who intentionally or knowingly, without legal justification and by any means, causes bodily harm or makes physical contact in a provoking or insulting nature, with an individual, as defined in ILCS Ch. 720, Act 5, § 12-3 and adopted and incorporated fully herein by reference, commits a battery and shall be in violation of this section.

Any person who, without lawful authority, engages in conduct which places another in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery, as defined in ILCS Ch. 720, Act 5, § 12-1 and adopted and incorporated fully herein by reference, commits an assault and shall be in violation of this section.

Any person who knowingly uses personal identifying information or personal identification documentation of another person for any purpose enumerated in state law, as defined by state law, commits the offense of identity theft and shall be in violation of this section.

Any person, firm, corporation or other entity convicted of violating any provision of this chapter for which another penalty is not specifically provided shall be fined not less than $100 and not more than $750 for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day that a violation occurs or continues.
