§ 135.02 ASSAULT.

Any person who, without lawful authority, engages in conduct which places another in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery, as defined in ILCS Ch. 720, Act 5, § 12-1 and adopted and incorporated fully herein by reference, commits an assault and shall be in violation of this section.
