A. Penalty Imposed: Any person or company who violates any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, is punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code for each day or portion of a day during which any violation of this chapter or any ordinance in relation thereto occurs. Each day or any portion of a day during which any violation of this code or of any ordinance in relation hereto shall continue shall constitute a separate offense. B. Criminal And Civil Remedies: In addition to proceeding under subsection A of this section, the city is entitled to pursue all other criminal and civil remedies to which it is entitled under authority of statutes or other ordinances against a person or company continuing to violate any portion of this chapter.
C. Termination Of Service: The city reserves the right to immediately terminate water and sewer service to any person or company who violates any portion of this chapter.
D. Injunctive Relief: The city reserves the right to seek injunctive relief for noncompliance.
E. City Actions: The remedies and penalties provided for in the provisions of this chapter are not exclusive. The city manager, or his designee, may take any, all, or any combination of these actions against a noncompliant user. (Ord. 2006-03-01, 3-13-2006)
