(a) Any responsible person, age 21 or older, seeking a permit for specific use of a public park or recreation area as authorized in Section 1062.01, including the use of fields or pavilions, shall file an application with the Mayor or his or her designee on forms provided by the Mayor. The person signing the application shall be considered the responsible party. Fees for the issuance of any permit required by Section 1062.01 et. seq. are as set forth in Section 214.06(l) and are payable at the time of filing the application. Reservation fees are nonrefundable. Refunds will not be issued due to inclement weather.
(b) The facility, park or recreation area is available for exclusive use to the permitted party from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., except for sports fields, which may, in the discretion of the City, be limited to lesser times as necessary or determined by the Recreation Director to allow greater use by the public. The applicant shall advise the person taking the application the amount of time the facility will be used.
