§ 72.72 REGULATIONS FOR RESIDENTIAL PERMIT HOLDERS.
   The following regulations shall be in effect.
   (A)   A permit shall be issued only when there is a lack of adequate off-street parking at applicant's place of residence. "ADEQUATE OFF-STREET PARKING" shall be defined as space for the automobile, including adequate access to that space.
   (B)   Permits shall be restricted to one per residence.
   (C)   Permits shall be valid only for the calendar year in which they are issued.
   (D)   Permitted parking spaces shall be used for passenger vehicles only.
   (E)   Permitted parking spaces shall not be subleased or rented, for consideration or gratuitously, to individuals outside the applicant's household.
   (F)   The permit holder will purchase and maintain a standard sign as designated by the city from the Street Department or a third party parking enforcement company contracted by the Board of Public Works and Safety. The cost for the sign shall be $75.

§ 72.73 DISPOSITI0ON OF REVENUE.
   All funds derived from the granting of permits under the provisions of this subchapter shall be placed in the City Parking Fund.

§ 72.74 VIOLATION AND PENALTY.
   Parking in a residential permitted parking space without a proper permit shall constitute a violation of this subchapter. Any violations of this subchapter are subject to the fines listed in § 132.02 as well as forced removal of the vehicle.

NON-RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMITS
§ 72.85 ELIGIBILITY.
   Business owners, employees, or residents of any commercially-zoned buildings of the downtown Noblesville business district (defined as Wayne Street to Hannibal Street and S. 6th Street to N. 12th Street) may apply to the Police Department or a third party parking enforcement company contracted by the Board of Public Works & Safety for a parking permit in a designated city parking lot or garage. At the time of application, a valid driver's license shall be shown. A copy of such license shall be kept with the permit application.
