(A) Generally. Any person violating any provision of this chapter, for which no other penalty is provided, shall be subject to the penalty provisions of § 10.99.
(B) Procedure. Except when a person charged with a violation of this title shall plead not guilty and elect to litigate an ordinance violation, a person charged may appear at, or mail to, the office of the Town Clerk-Treasurer within 48 hours of receipt of an appropriate notice and make payment of the fine specified in this code. The payment of a fine shall be deemed an acknowledgment of the alleged offense.

(C) Penalties for violation of Title 7.
(1) Non-parking violation. Any person, firm or corporation who violates the provisions of Chapter 70, Chapter 71, §§ 72.03, Chapter 75, Chapter 76, Schedule II or Chapter 76, Schedule IV shall be subject to a civil fine of $25 for each offense. Repeated violations shall be treated as separate offenses.
(2) Parking violations. Every person, firm or corporation who violates §§ 72.01(A) through (K), Chapter 73, Chapter 76, Schedule III or Chapter 77, Schedule I shall be subject to a civil fine of $1 if paid within 30 days, or $5 thereafter. A violation of § 72.01(L) shall be punished by a civil fine of $50 if paid within 30 days, or $75 thereafter.
(3) Prohibited vehicles. Any person, firm or corporation who violates the provisions of § 72.04 shall be subject to a civil fine of $50 and each violation shall be deemed separate and not continuing.
(4) Lock and Dam Park. Any person, firm or corporation who violates the provisions of § 70.15 shall be subject to a civil fine of $25 with the fine proceeds being deposited to the Boat Ramp Fund.
(5) Bicycles. Any person, firm or corporation who violates Chapter 74 shall be subject to a civil penalty of $5.

(D) Disposition of traffic fines and forfeiture. Under this title, all fines and forfeitures collected by the Town Clerk-Treasurer, unless otherwise directed in this title, shall be deposited in a special fund to be known as the Street Traffic Improvement Fund, which is hereby created, and which shall be used exclusively in the construction, maintenance and repair of public streets and street structures, or for the installation and maintenance of traffic-control devices and signs thereon, or to defray employment expenses of the Police and Street Departments.
