1228.08 STREET PAVEMENTS.
   Streets shall be paved from edge of gutter pan to edge of gutter pan. Pavement width, grade and crown shall be as set forth in Section 1226.02. The pavement may be either asphalt concrete, Portland cement concrete or a composite of the two and shall be constructed in accordance with the following:

Minor or Major Arterial
Pavement is to be designed. For asphalt, use the the asphalt institute thickness design procedures as set forth in Manual Series No. 1(MS-1)
For concrete, use the Ohio Ready Mix Concrete Assoc., Ohio Concrete Pavers Council, and Portland Cement Assoc. Design Manual - "Portland Cement Concrete Pavements".
Fibers shall be polypropylene.
