The Superintendent of Cedar Hill Cemetery shall have the power to sell the lots or subdivisions of burial grounds or cemeteries, subject to the approval of the Director of Public Service, according to the scale of prices that may from time to time be fixed by the Director. When the sale of any lot or subdivision has been made by the Superintendent he shall give the purchaser thereof a certificate of sale in which he shall enter the name of the purchaser, the number of the lot or subdivision sold and the amount of the purchase price. The certificate shall be directed to the Director, who shall receive the purchase money and give the purchaser a receipt therefor, in which shall be entered the name of the purchaser, the number of the lot and the amount of purchase money. The purchase money shall be deposited with the City Treasurer on the order of the City Auditor.
