No licensed taxicab driver shall knowingly deface any license certificate, tag or identification card issued pursuant to this chapter or remove, tamper with or alter the same. In the case of a violation of this section, the Director of Public Safety may revoke the violator's license. Such revocation shall be in addition to the penalty provided in Section 872.99.
