(a) Within sixty days after the appointment of its members, the Boxing and Wrestling Commission shall adopt in writing and file with the Mayor, the Clerk of Council and the Chief of Police, a set of rules and regulations for the governing of boxing and wrestling exhibitions. Any amendments or supplementary rules and regulations shall be filed as aforesaid.

(b) Such rules and regulations shall provide, inter alia, for the proper construction of rings, mats, gloves, equipment and facilities for boxing and wrestling. In addition, the Commission may at any time make any order deemed necessary for the regulation of boxing and wrestling.(1969 Code Sec. 113.19)
