812.06 USE OR LEASE OF DRIVE-IN THEATER, BUILDING OR HALL; PERMIT REQUIRED; FEES.
   No owner, lessee or agent of any drive-in theater, building or hall situated in the City shall use such drive-in theater, building or hall or lease the same to others to be used for the purpose of giving therein any of the theatrical performances, concerts, shows, exhibitions or lectures set forth in this chapter without first making application to the Mayor and obtaining a permit therefor. Such permits shall be effective for a period of one year from and after January 1. It shall not be necessary for such person showing, exhibiting or lecturing in any such drive-in theater, building or hall during the effective period of the permit to make application to the Mayor for a permit to so show, exhibit or lecture or to pay any sum for the use of the City. The fee for such annual permit, if the automobile capacity of the drive-in theater is less than 125 automobiles or if the seating capacity of the building or hall is less than 500 seats, shall be five dollars ($5. 00) per year, payable on or before January 1; if he automobile capacity of any such drive-in theater is more than 125 automobiles or if the seating capacity of any such building or hall is over 500 seats, then the fee shall be ten dollars ($10. 00) per year, payable on or before January 1.
