(a) There is hereby created in the Mayor's Office a non-regular position of Drug Policy Director. The Position Classification Table of the City of Newark is hereby amended to reflect the foregoing position and the Position Authorization Table of the City of Newark is hereby amended to reflect that a strength authorization of one appointment is hereby assigned.
(b) The position of Drug Policy Director is an unclassified volunteer position, with no protection, compensation or benefits of any kind to be afforded to this position.
(c) According to Ordinance 90-105, volunteer positions with the City of Newark are covered under workers' compensation; therefore, this position will be covered under the City's workers' compensation insurance.
