220.04 ACCEPTANCE AND DISPOSITION OF U.S. GOVERNMENT PROPERTY.
   (a)   The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to accept money, vessels, vehicles, aircraft, office equipment, computers and other. property from the United States Government in accordance with Title 19 of the United States Code, Section 1616 (19 U.S.C. 1616) , provided, however, that any proposed transfers of real property shall be accepted by separate ordinance.
   (b)   All such property received by the City, except for money and real estate, shall be allocated to the Police Division for proper law enforcement purposes. Any property allocated to the Division pursuant to this section, which is determined to be unnecessary for law enforcement purposes, shall be sold in a manner inconsistent with the requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, and the proceeds thereof shall be allocated as provided in subsection (c) hereof.
   (c)   All moneys received by the Mayor pursuant to this section and all moneys derived from the sale of property allocated to the Police Division, which are not needed for law enforcement purposes, shall be deposited to the credit of the General Fund of the City. All such moneys shall thereafter be appropriated for the law enforcement activities of the Police Division.
