(A) Whenever any new street is proposed in the city, by any property owner or subdivider, the street names shall be approved by the 911 Coordinator and the Planning Commission as a part of the process for approval of the final subdivision plat. The City Council shall have final approval and acceptance of all streets within the city.
(B) The Planning Department shall maintain a list of guidelines for the naming of streets in order to be consistent with state and federal guidelines on street signage.
(C) The renaming of any street within the City of Murray must be approved by the by the Transportation Committee and a recommendation forwarded to the City Council for final approval.
