§ 70.61 TURNING MARKERS.
   (A)   The Chief of Police is authorized, with the approval of the City Manager, to place markers, buttons or signs within or adjacent to intersections indicating the course to be traveled by vehicles turning at such intersections and such course to be traveled as so indicated may conform to or be other than as prescribed by any provision of this code, state law or city ordinance, rule or regulation.
   (B)   When authorized markers, buttons or other indications are placed within an intersection indicating the course to be traveled by vehicles turning thereat, no driver of a vehicle shall disobey the directions of such indications.

§ 70.62 NO PASSING ZONE.
   The Chief of Police is authorized, with the approval of the City Manager, to determine by resolution those portions of any highway in the city where overtaking and passing or driving on the left side of the roadway would be especially hazardous and may put appropriate signs or markings on the roadway, indicating the beginning and end of such zones, and when such signs or markings are in place and clearly visible to any ordinarily observant person, every driver of a vehicle shall obey the directions thereof.

§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whenever in this title an act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an offense or a misdemeanor, or wherever in this title the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful, and no specific penalty is otherwise provided in this code of ordinances, the violation shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $500.00, provided, however, that no penalty shall be greater or less than the penalty provided for the same or a similar offense of the laws of the state.
   (B)   Each day a violation of this code or of any ordinance continues shall constitute a separate offense.
