No person shall plant a tree or plant in a public right-of-way or other premises controlled by the Village until a permit has been issued. Permits may only be issued based upon the following conditions:
A. The tree must be an approved tree as so designated in section 7-4-4 of this chapter; and
B. No more than ten percent (10%) of one (1) species per subdivision or region of the Village and no more than twenty percent (20%) of one (1) species throughout the entire Village will be permitted. (Ord. 1656, 8-28-2013)
