5-1-3: TERM OF APPOINTMENT:

A. Determination Of Mayor: The chief of police shall serve for such terms as determined by the mayor along with the advice and consent of the board of trustees. (Ord. 1586, 1-24-2012)

B. Specific Term: In the absence of any designated term of appointment, such chief of police and police officers shall serve from May 1 to April 30 of the following year. (Ord. 457, 8-11-1976)
