BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

3-3-1: BOARD ESTABLISHED:
A board of adjustment is hereby established which shall consist of all of the aldermen of the city council, with the mayor acting as chair of said board. (Ord. 1270, 5-23-1977)
3-3-2: ORGANIZATION:
   A.   Rules: The board shall adopt rules necessary to conduct its affairs and in the keeping of the provisions of the zoning title 1 . Meetings shall be held at the call of the chair and at such other times as the board may determine.
   B.   Meetings: The chair or, in his absence, the president of the city council, may administer oaths and compel the attendance of witnesses. All meetings shall be open to the public 2 .
   C.   Minutes And Records: The board shall keep minutes of its proceedings, showing the vote of each member on each question or if absent or failing to vote, indicate such fact, and shall keep records of its examinations and other official actions and the reasons for such actions, all of which shall be a public record and be immediately filed with the finance officer.
