600.080. Suspensions and Revocations.
The council may either suspend for up to 60 days or revoke any liquor license or impose a civil fine not to exceed $2,000.00 for each violation, or any combination of these sanctions, upon a finding that the licensee or an agent or employee of the licensee has failed to comply with any applicable statute, regulation or ordinance relating to alcoholic beverages or the operation of the licensed establishment, or failed to comply with a lawful license condition imposed by the city or agreed to by the licensee. No suspension or revocation will take effect until the licensee has been afforded an opportunity for a hearing pursuant to Minn. Stat. §§ 14.57 to 14.70.

600.085. Penalty.
Except as otherwise provided by state law, a person violating a provision of this ordinance is subject to the penalties established in chapter 13 of this code. A fine or sentence imposed will not affect the right of the city to suspend or revoke the license of the licensee as the council deems appropriate.
605.005. Adoption of State Law by Reference.
The provisions of Minn. Stat. ch. 349 are hereby adopted by reference and are made a part of this ordinance as if set out in full. It is the intention of the city council that all future amendments of Minn. Stat. ch. 349, are hereby adopted by reference or referenced as if they had been in existence at the time this ordinance was adopted.
605.010. Purpose.
The purpose of this section is to regulate lawful gambling within the City of Minnetonka, to ensure the integrity of operations, and to provide for the use of net profits only for lawful purposes.
