A. On the commencement of any civil action or proceeding, for which either a filing fee is required or where upon any answer or appearance in such action for which a filing fee is required 1
, in addition to any other fee established by law, the clerk shall also collect a twenty dollar ($20.00) court security fee.
B. On or before the fifth day of each month, the clerk of the court shall account for and pay over to the county treasurer any such fees collected during the preceding month.
C. The treasurer shall credit the fees each month to an account or line item allocated for court security in the general fund. (Ord. 236A, 2016)
