16.02.060: JURISDICTION:
   A.   These subdivision regulations shall apply to all subdivisions of land, as defined in this title, located within the jurisdiction of the Mineral County commissioners.
   B.   No land shall be subdivided within the county until:
      1.   The subdivider or his agent files an application, pays the required fees, with the required documentation to the county clerk's office.
      2.   The planning commission recommends approval of the tentative map and the final map.
      3.   The Mineral County board of commissioners approves the tentative map and the final map.
      4.   The county recorder records the final map only after the final map is approved by the county commissioners.
   C.   No building permit or certificate of occupancy shall be issued for any parcel or plat of land which was created by subdivision after the effective date of, and not in conformity with, the provisions of these subdivision regulations, and no excavation of land or construction of any public or private improvements shall take place or be commenced except in conformity with these subdivision regulations.
