The board shall have the power and duty to adopt and amend regulations for the operation and use of the Hawthorne municipal sewer system so long as such regulations are not in conflict with the regulations of the U.S. environmental protection agency and federal, state and local laws. The Nevada division of environmental protection must be advised of all amendments to this chapter at least thirty (30) days prior to their effective date. (TH Ord. 132A § 18, 1991)
