9.12.010: INHALATION OF FUMES OR CONSUMPTION OF SUBSTANCES PROHIBITED:
No person shall, for the purpose of causing or resulting in a condition of intoxication, euphoria, excitement, exhilaration, stupefaction, or dulling of the senses or nervous system, intentionally smell or inhale the fumes from any glue or similar toxic vapor; or consume or use any otherwise legal substance for a purpose other than for which it is generally known, used, and advertised; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to the inhalation of any anesthetic for medical or dental purposes, when administered or directed by a licensed physician or dentist.
