9.08.010: INTERFERENCE WITH POLICE DOGS UNLAWFUL:
It is unlawful for any person wilfully or maliciously to torture, torment, beat, kick, strike, mutilate, injure, disable, or kill any dog used by the sheriff's department of Mineral County, in the performance of the functions or duties of such department, or to interfere with or meddle with any such dog. (MC Ord. 33A § 1, 1969)
