12.24.040: TRAILER PARKING:
   A.   Definitions:
 
TRAILER:
A vehicle without motive power used, manufactured, or constructed to permit its use as a conveyance upon the public streets and highways and designed to permit its use as a place of human habitation by one or more persons and/or all conveyances without motive power in excess of eighteen feet.
MOTORHOME:
A vehicular unit built on, or permanently attached to, a self-propelled motor vehicle chassis, chassis cab, or van, which becomes an integral part of the completed vehicle and is designed to provide temporary living quarters for recreational, camping or travel use.
 
   B.   Within Township boundaries, trailers and motorhomes may be parked on streets and rights of way only under the following circumstances:
      1.   Shall not be parked on paved portions of roads for more than seventy-two (72) hours at a time or closer than fifteen (15) feet to an intersection;
      2.   Shall not be parked on an easement closer than fifteen (15) feet from an intersection;
      3.   Shall not be parked with slide-outs extended into or over the paved portions of roads, sidewalks, or easements; or
      4.   Shall not be parked on or in a manner that impedes use of sidewalks.
   C.   This section does not prohibit commercial trailers being parked at construction sites during ongoing construction.
