6.04.310: INTERFERENCE WITH ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER:
It is unlawful and punishable as a misdemeanor for any person in any manner to do the following:
   A.   To interfere or attempt to interfere with the animal control officer or any other officer authorized to act hereunder in the performance of any duty imposed by the provisions of this chapter;
   B.   To take away or attempt to take away from the custody of the animal control officer, or any other officer authorized to act pursuant to this chapter, any dog or cat seized pursuant to the provisions of this chapter; or
   C.   To remove or attempt to remove from the public pound any dog or cat impounded therein without first having redeemed the same according to the provisions of this chapter. (MC Ord. 102A § 2, 1986)
